Chandler's Day Of Play

Bear Creek Golf Complex would like to thank all the parents and children who took the time to stop by our booth on Saturday, October 17th at the 2009 Chandler Day of Play held at Tumbleweed Recreation Center. We had a great time with the putting contest, and we hope you enjoyed participating. As the weather cools, golf is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise. Playing golf is a fun, family activity that can be enjoyed by players of all ages and abilities. We hope you take the time to visit our website, www.bearcreekaz.com, and learn more about our Sunday Family Golf days on the Cub Course, and other interesting events and programs.
We would like to congratulate John Rinehart (9:00-9:30), John Gonzales (9:30-10:00), Carlos Briseno (10:00-10:30), Irma Gonzalez (10:30-11:00), Heather Winiesdorffer (11:30-12:00) and Bryan Eastin (11:30-12:00). They each won one dozen Titleist Pro V1 golf balls in our putting contest. Putting contest prizes can be picked up in the Golf Shop at Bear Creek Golf Complex. We are located at 500 East Riggs Road, approximately ¼ mile east of Arizona Avenue in south Chandler.
The grand prize winner was Vinnie Giella. He guessed that we had exactly 106 golf balls in the display jar! Vinnie wins a round of golf on the Bear Course for himself and a friend, including the use of a golf cart. Congratulations from everyone at Bear Creek.
The Bear Course and the Practice and Learning Center are both now open after overseeding. The Cub Course will reopen on Saturday, October 24, 2009. We look forward to hosting you in the upcoming months, and appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit with us on Saturday.
