---EricEric Kulinna, Director of Golf
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, PGA Professional Eric Kulinna began working as the Director of Golf at Bear Creek in March 2007. An accomplished teacher and player, Eric has worked as an instructor at both private and public golf facilities in Arizona, Illinois and Michigan. At Penn State University, he earned three varsity letters, won one individual title, and played on a Men's Golf team that won 13 tournament titles. Since beginning his professional career in 1993, Eric has won a number of individual stroke play and match play tournaments. Mike Barnett, Director of Instruction

As the Director of Instruction, Mike Barnett has worked at Bear Creek since the facility opened in January 2000. Since graduating from Arizona State, where he played on the golf team with a number of successful PGA Tour players, Mike has built a career as a PGA Professional based on enhancing each and every student's understanding of their skills and abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment. He uses video analysis to promote proper diagnosis, explanantion and correction. Brian Calhoun, Teaching Professional and 2009 U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teacher
Brian Calhoun is originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico, and graduated from the Professional Golf Management Program at New Mexico State University. In 1994, Brian was elected to membership in the PGA of America, and he has always had a passion for providing the highest quality golf instruction.
brianBrian has taught at a variety of facilities, including Mauna Kea Resort in Hawaii, PGA West Resort and The Palms Golf Club in La Quinta, California. Jeff Kipley, Assistant Professional

Born and raised in Alta Loma, California, Jeff Kipley moved to the Phoenix area in June of 2004. He graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in Fall 2006, and began working at Bear Creek. Matt_MontalvoMatthew Montalvo, Assistant Professional
Recently relocated to Arizona from northern California where he worked as a PGA Assistant Professional since 1993. As a youth, he was a member of the of the NCGJA golf league, and later played on the PGA Tour: Pepsi, Hogan, and the Golden Bear. Matthew is a graduate of San Jose State University, and has been a golf instructor of youth for a number of years with The First Tee of San Jose. He also enjoys instructing adults on the rules of the game, as well as providing valuable knowledge needed to improve the ability and skills of his students' game. Mr. Montalvo structures his lessons with an understanding of the importance of patience and realization that everyone has a unique golf swing that can be perfected. Drew_Bashor_Staff_Photo_720_x_540Drew Bashor, Assistant Professional
Drew Bashor is a native of Seattle, Washington, and played college golf at the University of Puget Sound before completing his education at the Golf Academy of America campus in Chandler, AZ.  Drew is an accomplished player, and has competed in tournaments across the U.S. and Canada. After graduation, Drew completed an internship under PGA Tour Academy director of instruction John Stahlschmidt at TPC Scottsdale, and his passion for understanding the golf swing was sparked by his long-time swing coach and former PGA Tour player Jeff Coston.  Drew passed his Playing Ability Test in November 2009 on his first attempt, shooting 69-72 – 141 (-3) at Ahwatukee CC, and is currently pursuing membership in the PGA of America. For lesson information with Drew This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
