General Information:  Bear Creek Golf Complex is offering Junior Golf Camps throughout the summer for children ages 6 to 14, who have completed kindergarten.  Camp sessions are limited in size, with a maximum child to instructor ratio of 8:1.  Our PGA Professional instruction staff will teach all camp sessions.  Camp classes will be held in the morning, with campers grouped by age and ability level.  Parents are responsible for providing clubs for their children. The Bear Creek professional staff is available to assist in fitting your child with age appropriate golf equipment. (Custom Fit Junior golf equipment is available by special order).

Objectives:  Children will be introduced to the basic principles and fundamentals of golf. Putting, chipping, pitching, bunker shots and the full swing with irons and woods will be taught during each session.  In addition, safety, golf etiquette, sportsmanship and the rules of golf will be emphasized. 

Camp Fees:  The individual Camp Session Fee is $50 per week, per child.  The camp fee includes PGA Professional instruction and unlimited range balls during each daily 1-hour class, Monday thru Thursday. 

A Golf Pass may be purchased for $20, by registered campers only, for unlimited play on the Cub course during their weekly camp session.  These passes are optional, and are only valid Monday through Sunday of their camp session week.  

Camp Sessions:  Weekly camp sessions will be held throughout the summer.  Each camp session will include four 1-hour daily classes, Monday thru Thursday.

Daily Class Hours:  Campers will be grouped by age and ability.  Three classes will be held each day, with 15-minute intervals between classes. 

The first class each day will be for 9-11 year olds, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. 

(Note:  Children ages 11 and under, who have successfully completed the US Kids Level 2 knowledge and skills testing, may be placed in the 9:30 am to 10:30 am class at the discretion of the PGA Professional staff.)

The second class each day will be for 6-8 year olds, from 8:15 am to 9:15 am. 

(Note:  Children age 6 must have completed kindergarten.  Children ages 8 and under, who have successfully completed the US Kids Level 1 knowledge and skills testing, may be placed in the 7:00 am to 8:00 am class at the discretion of the PGA Professional staff.)

The third class each day will be for 12-14 year olds, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
